‘Everyone has their own color.’
At Sihyunhada, we introduce colored backgrounds
as an element to capture individuality even
in the most basic form of an ID photo.
‘From individual to culture, from culture to history’
Sihyunhada's cassette tape package will become a process
of accumulating your own records,
and it will ultimately be completed as a personal history.
‘Not a mistake, but a difference as individuality.
At Sihyunhada, the journey of creating a photograph is a collaborative process
between the photographer and the customer, from the photo consultation to the editing.
Based on an understanding of human anatomy, we engage in natural retouching
and discussions about each person’s standards of beauty, providing a unique experience
that encourages self-reflection.
‘An experience that uniquely records who I am today.’
Sihyunhada is the first photography studio to offer systematic services from one-on-one reservation
and consultation to editing, creating adjective cards, package production, and delivery,
meticulously managing the entire customer experience before and after the photo session.

Sihyunhada Project Exhibition History
“Sihyunhada” is a brand that originated from the project “1000 Portraits: Sihyunhada,” the representative work of artist Kim Sihyun. This project began on September 6, 2016, and involved documenting the faces of 1,000 individuals, the smallest sample group of Korean society, through photographs, capturing the shared appearance of the public in a specific era.
Through the most familiar form of photography to the public—passport photos—the artist explored the intrinsic value of photography, not as a mere tool for identification, but as a medium that proves the individuality and life stories of each person. By breaking away from the typical, uniform retouching of passport photos, this project aimed to capture the unique stories of each individual, thereby shedding new light on the artistic potential of photography.
“Sihyunhada” has thus elevated public photography to the realm of art through the unique perspective of artist Kim Sihyun, delicately capturing the lives and emotions of contemporary Koreans, and in doing so, has established itself as a work that evokes social empathy.

SIHYUNHADA Archive
In an era where photographs are often perceived as mere image files rather than carefully crafted works of art,
Sihyunhada Archive aspires to ensure that the photographs taken by Photographers and experiences from “Photographers” become unforgettable memories tucked away in everyone's personal drawers.
Through the metaphor of a drawer, we describe the stages of a Photographer’s development. Numerous “ID photos” that attest to the growth of a Photographer fill one compartment of the drawer,
and as it fills, the next higher compartment opens, and the stories shared between the Photographers and Photographers remain encapsulated in a single photo,
becoming a part of them. We hope that this drawer can always be opened by anyone to reminisce and treasure their memories.

May each memory become a cherished moment in someone's life forever.
Memories accumulated in each Grade open up the next one.
As those stories accumulate, they open the next Grade,
There is a drawer to hold those records.
Capture the moment.
SIHYUNHADA Package
We believe that the role of a photography studio is to print and provide digital images.
Rather than storing them on a phone drive, we consider the value of a completed album made up of printed photos.
We deliver these precious prints in a new type of packaging, moving away from the traditional paper envelopes offered by other photo studios.
In a space where we converse through colors, we ensure these colors are captured accurately
by conducting quarterly calibrations with a professional company (Data Color),
using the best color-representing P-904, and employing Durix Satin 270g and Durix Glacier 300g papers.
Each location offers branded packaging that enhances our distinctive identity.
